Conceptualized in 2009 on top of a large quarry in Maine, Joe Reno wanted to get a large group of great people together to play some real rock n roll and soul music without a shred of irony. He assembled his brothers and sisters in arms to start a quest much bigger than any of these psychedelic bandits had fathomed. The fight to protect Rock & Roll, music, positivism, truth, soul, and justice, had begun… Souldiers of Soul showcases a 10+ member roster to create an armada of sound and an experience in a parallel universe that exists somewhere between The Avengers and McHale’s Navy in the form of a band.

Recorded live in early 2015, “Beware the False Prophet” is the first studio excursion for Souliders of Soul. Due for digital and limited cassette release on May 5th, 2015, the band is continuing to play shows on the East Coast and working on material for their next release.
